- From
Melbourne - Tawonga is approximately a 4.0 hour drive
via the Hume Highway:
- Turn off the Hume Highway just after McDonalds at Glenrowan. Follow
the “Milawa Gourmet Region and Snow Road” through Oxley, Milawa and
Myrtleford to Ovens
or
- Turn off the Hume Highway at Wangaratta onto the Great Alpine Road
and continue to Ovens
At Ovens turn left and follow the Happy Valley Road
until you reach the T-junction at the Kiewa Valley Highway.
Turn right onto the Kiewa Valley Highway and drive
approximately 19 ˝ km. Turn left into Mountain Creek Road and the motel is
50m from the corner on the right.

- From Sydney - approximately 8.5 hour drive.
Take the Tallangata exit from the Hume Highway if bypassing Albury, then
follow directions towards Mt Beauty.
- From Canberra - approximately 5-hour drive
- From Adelaide - approximately 10 to 12-hour drive
